Personal Assistant to NYC-Based Founder
We are seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to support the personal life and lifestyle of an NYC-based founder with homes and projects across New York, Los Angeles, and Mexico. The role is primarily remote with occasional in-person time at the principal's NYC residence, plus periodic travel for property and event prep. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and discreet, someone who builds systems, anticipates needs, and runs multiple workstreams in parallel with minimal oversight. Experience supporting founders, HNWIs, or A-list principals is required. Capability to expand into a full-time role, helping the principal with his company logistics. He is a CEO at a venture-backed company.
Compensation
Part-time, 20 hours per week, $50/hour
Opportunity to transition to full-time as demands increase
Tasks and Responsibilities
Property & Home Management
Own NYC home logistics: coordinating service providers, car pickup, errands, organization, vendor coordination. Generally focused on improving and maintaining the existing home
Liaise weekly and monthly with Mexico property manager on financial reporting and ongoing operations (operational work stays with on-site manager)
Coordinate an LA remodel project once active (vendor management, sourcing and purchasing, occasional site visits) and post-completion leasing in partnership with the broker, including light furnishing, internet, and utilities setup for rental units
Lifestyle, Family & Traditions
Plan and execute a monthly Shabbat dinner for ~10 guests, including chef sourcing, RSVPs, menu, and end-to-end logistics
Maintain a gifting and tradition calendar, including Mother's Day, family and friend birthdays, thoughtful gestures throughout the year
Plan and execute biannual group trips: a 20-person DΓa de los Muertos trip to Puerto Escondido (November 2026), and a spring 2027 South France and Paris trip for family and friends.
Health & Active Lifestyle
Identify and vet specialists; book and manage doctor appointments and health advisors
Support a consistently active lifestyle: yoga, tennis, personal trainers; organize sessions 2β3x weekly when not traveling.
Calendar Curation & Enrichment
Proactively curate cultural and intellectual events that match the principal's interests: live music, classical, opera, dance, book clubs, and salons on philosophy, futarchy, health tech, and non-woke politics
Surface opportunities and bookings to advance creative pursuits (acting, cooking, architecture, 3D modeling)
Scan calendar for open windows and fill them with high-quality events and experiences
Travel
Handle all travel logistics remotely (flights, accommodations, ground transport)
Occasional travel on the principal's behalf: LA site visits during remodel, Mexico to review construction projects, advance work for group trips
Requirements & Qualifications
3+ years as a PA, EA supporting a founder, HNWI, or A-list principal
NYC-based with ability to be at principal's residence as needed
Exceptional discretion; comfortable signing and operating under NDA
Strong project management and systems-building instincts; able to run property, travel, events, health, and calendar workstreams concurrently
Proactive operator who anticipates needs and works with light oversight
Fluent across modern productivity and research tools; uses Google search and AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) effectively for research and execution, but does not over-rely on them.
Excellent vendor sourcing and management: chefs, contractors, doctors, etc.
Polished communicator; experienced coordinating with household staff, family, and high-touch friend networks
Active Driver's License preferred, Passport required
Comfort with international travel logistics (Mexico, Europe) a plus
Bonus:
Spanish skills, eye for interior design, experience with social media management or video content production
